G. Ashaini Knowles, MD
General and Pediatric Surgery
Dr. Knowles is an alumnus of Queen’s College and was awarded his medical degree from the University of The West Indies. He is board certified in both Adult General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery. He was trained under Professor Alistair Millar a world renowned pediatric surgeon who was awarded both the Sir Denis Browne Gold Medal and Rehbein Medal (two of the highest honors that can be awarded to a Pediatric Surgeon).
Dr. Knowles is presently a Consultant in both Adult and Pediatric Surgery at The Princess Margaret Hospital and Doctor’s Hospital. He also serves as an Associate Lecturer at The University of The West Indies, School of Clinical Medicine and Research, Nassau, Bahamas.

Dr Knowles is a member of The Paul Chester Children’s Hope Foundation. He has participated in medical missions since 2023 volunteering his time to support social impact in the developing world.
